Recypt Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 17, 2026.

This Privacy Policy describes how Nishna Newborn Health, LLC, doing business as Recypt ("Recypt," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Service.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, business name, and mailing address (if you use the Concierge Shoebox add-on).
• Uploaded content: receipt images and documents, and bank or credit-card statements if you use a reconciliation feature.
• Extracted financial data: vendor, amount, date, and category information derived from your uploaded documents.
• Payment information: your payment method is collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe. Recypt does not store your full card number.
• Usage data: basic log and technical data generated by using the Service.

2. How We Use Information

• To deliver the Service: receipt categorization, human review and correction, and generation of exports/documents.
• To process your uploaded documents using AI-assisted extraction.
• To provide customer support and respond to your communications.
• To process billing and manage your subscription.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information — Third-Party Processors

We share information with the following categories of service providers, only as needed to operate the Service:

• Firebase / Google Cloud — hosting, database (Firestore), and file storage for your account data and uploaded documents.
• OpenAI — receipt images and document content may be sent to OpenAI's API to extract vendor, amount, date, and category information.
• Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions and one-time fees.
• EasyPost — for Concierge Shoebox clients only, to generate prepaid return shipping labels; requires your mailing address.
• Email delivery provider — to send transactional emails (for example, shipping-label notifications) via our email-sending integration.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable backup and legal/tax record-keeping retention period after cancellation. You may request deletion of your account and data, subject to those retention considerations. We recommend keeping your own copies of any exports, since Recypt's retention period may be shorter than your own recordkeeping needs.

5. Security

Access to your data is restricted by database and storage security rules to your account and any bookkeeper/admin account you have linked. We maintain regular backups. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect information from, children under 18.

7. Your Rights & Choices

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your account information at any time, and may opt out of non-essential communications from us.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify active clients of material changes before they take effect.
